For ages 16 - 24
Youth Job Fair to provide access to
employers in the community looking to
hire immediately or for the summer. You
will also receive support from Jobs
Consultants who will help you connect
with employers as well as assistance with
resume and interviewing skills. Additional Info: Bring plenty of copies of your resume
Dress is formal or smart casual

Free Travel Training
Alliance of Disability Advocates is
offering FREE Travel Training! The
training is available now through June
30, 2012.
This project will help you learn about
the transit system (public buses) and
paratransit systems (Tier 2) in your area.
While enrolled in the training, the cost
of your transportation fees will be paid
for by the project.

Get Your Career Readiness Cert. @ Swinburne JLCC
The NC Career Readiness Certificate (CRC)
preparation class and Assessments will
help you prove to employers that you are
the right candidate for the job.
CRC is an internet based training to
prepare participants for success in taking
the Math, Reading and Locating Information
assessments applicable to the job

registration and orientation dates. Additional Info: Tuition and test fees for CRC classes may
be waived (free) for individuals who meet
the following criteria: unemployed, have
received notification of pending layoff,
working and eligible for the Federal
Earned Income Tax Credit or is working and
earning at or below 200% of the federal
poverty guidelines. Ask a CRC
instructor.
