workforce development services for Adults & Dislocated Workers funded
under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) are being
implemented in two phases. The first phase began September 2009, and the
second phase is expected to begin November 2009. For both Phase 1 and 2, all
individuals who receive services must qualify under WIA eligibility
requirements for adults and dislocated workers.
At this time, no new applicants are being considered for Phase 1. If
you are interested in Phase 2 ARRA services, please complete the on-line
pre-application questionnaire to assist us in reviewing your eligibility and
career interests related to training.
Note: If you want to apply for the community
colleges JobsNOW program and do not need financial assistance, the
courses are open to the general public. For more information on registration
